A rare case of Aneurysmal Bone Cyst in the Clavicle of a 12-Year-Old Boy picked up in an urgent care setting

Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABCs) are benign but potentially locally aggressive bone lesions typically occurring in the metaphysis of long bones3. Clavicular involvement is rare, especially in the absence of trauma or pain1. We report the case of a 12-year-old boy who presented to the urgent care center with a painless, non-tender lump over the lateral end of his right clavicle. Imaging studies revealed an expansile lesion suggestive of an aneurysmal bone cyst. This case highlights the importance of considering ABC in the differential diagnosis of clavicular masses in pediatric patients, even in the absence of classical symptoms.

A rare case of oesophageal stent migrating into rectum picked up in an urgent care setting

Fully covered stents are a tool for the endoscopist in the management of benign and malignant strictures of the oesophagus. Nevertheless, they come with potential risks to the patient, such as stent migration and related complications. In this study, we present an interesting case of oesophageal stent migrating to the rectum, to increase its awareness, as early diagnosis and retrieval can limit complications.
