Extensive Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) with May-Thurner Syndrome mimicking Sciatica picked up in an urgent care setting

May-Thurner syndrome is a rare condition characterized by compression of left common iliac vein by the right common iliac artery. This may result in extensive proximal DVT and can lead to serious complications like pulmonary embolism. In this study, we present a case of May-Thurner syndrome in a 22-year-old female attending with low back pain and left leg pain, with characteristic CT angiogram findings, to increase its awareness as early diagnosis and treatment can cure the condition and limit complications.
