A pathological fracture of C2 caused by plasmacytoma in a 50-year-old picked up at an urgent care setting

Plasmacytoma is a solitary form of multiple myeloma caused by uncontrolled proliferation of plasma cells in bone marrow3. They are mostly found in axial skeleton but uncommon in cervical spine1. In this study, we present a case of pathological axis fracture caused by plasmacytoma in a 50-year-old female presenting with neck pain, with characteristic radiologic features, to increase its awareness, as early diagnosis and treatment can limit disability.
